I expect Nalgene bottles to be high quality. I was happy to find the exact designs I was specifically looking for. Bought them for all the grandkids to include in their mini-day packs.
I bought two of these bottles for my kids (ages 3 and 4). I have tried every bottle on the market. Everything leaks, and those that don't are too difficult for little hands to open. These bottles are wonderful. My boys can easily open, close, AND refill all by themselves. And the don't ever leak.
They have already taken some very rough treatment, and I expect them to hold up to the Nalgene promise of durability. I also love that there are no lose part--no extra straws or tiny pieces to have to wash and keep together.
The other plus is that the size of the mouth is perfect. It is not too big, causing them to spill, and not too small so that they drink only small mouthfuls. On the contrary, they drink more water now with these water bottles than ever before. They think it's fun, and the I think the size of the mouth simply encourages them to take bigger swallows.
Great bottle for school. The loop on top will let them clip it onto a backpack, and it is the perfect size, not too small or too big. I want one myself now. I cannot recommend this highly enough. This is the bottle I have been looking for!
