    It may work fine for some, but it won't work at all if you have a d-loop on your string. It needs tension on the string to cock itself.

    I was having trouble with the traditional releases and decided to try the Mossy Oak Thumb Release. It was a bit of a problem for me to find a comfortable achor, but after a couple of sessions, it all came together and now I have improved my acuracy 100%. I like the simplicity of this release.
